Type 29-ALN Titanium Aluminum Nitride Hi-Performance Reduced Neck
    TIAIN Hi-Performance Reduced Neck Type 29-ALN
    • Titanium aluminum nitride coating is ideal for threading hard materials designed for hardened steels and cast iron up to 45 Rockwell C.

    • Provides extreme toughness, recommended for high temperature operations and difficult to machine materials.

    • Available in Fractional and Metric sizes.

Titanium Carbon Nitride:
Excellent for drilling and reaming of cast irons, high silicon aluminum alloys, copper, and all abrasive materials.

Because of the relatively low oxidation temperature of TiCN, coolant must be applied correctly to control the temperature at the cutting edge. Failure to do so can lead to premature wear of the coated surface.


Titanium Aluminum Nitride:
Excellent in tapping of high strength steels, hard die steels, and high temperature alloys, including nickel base and titanium where high heat is generated and edge chipping is a problem.
